Awakening

6/25/08 - This card has been a close companion over the last week or so, and today for the first time I noticed that the hand on her temple...looked as if it was a separate hand...the hand of an "other". (In the original image, the hand is that of the woman's.) This new vision blew me away...for what an empowering and encouraging image that is for me...to see the Great Giving Hand bestowing blessings, healings and new insights to me. This opens me even more to receiving. It's like a new light has gone on inside of me...and even though she still appears to be sleeping...growth and healing are taking place like never before. And when the time is right, she will go from "Awakening" to the "Awakened One" (a new card to create). What an important, encouraging and exciting message for me. I just love the SoulCollage process.

The hand says: I am the one who awakens you from your sleep…lays hands upon you and heals your pain… I am the one who dissolves what needs to be dissolved. I give you the power of remembrance that you are already healed…I give you remembrance of your authentic power. I give you blessings…the blessing of knowing your innate self is whole, and complete right now. I give you the remembrance of that Divine Energy Pattern…the perfect blueprint is already within you...awaiting your full recognition and acceptance. It is patient and will allow you to clear away any brush and debri that inhibits your recognition. Know though...it is already done. My healing hand is upon you always…my energy is always blessing you, directing you, and it…guiding you into more Light. I am the one who heals and rules with the Universal power and I open you to receive the same.

6/19/08 - The woman says: I am the part of you who is awakening....awakening to transformation...to new life...new visions, a tranformational way of communicating with myself and my sisters and brothers of the planet. I am wider-awake now...to my soul-visions. I am awakened to my wholeness. I embrace and say yes to the new life that is being offered to me. I trust in the dreams of my heart and soul. I nurture and hatch the ideas and plans and passions that have been incubating within. I allow authentic communication to flow...to myself from myself...and from myself to others, and this this transforms my experience of living...new visions, wholeness, health, wealth. I am awakening to a greater vision for life...and my life...of wholeness, health, wealth in all areas.

I want you to continue your journey, listening to your heart and soul. Be patient. Give yourself what you need. Make your "self" and your needs a priority...your health, your care, your well-being, your environment inside and out....and all else will be added unto you. A little bit about me...

I am a free spirit & creative soul exploring my inner and outer worlds through creative, insightful activities and practices which allow me to know myself better and live from a deeper, richer, insightful and more joyous realm. ~ I am a mom, daughter, sister, friend, writer, artist, jewelry-maker, passionate resource for others, lover of life... and mindful knitter for the Mother Bear Project...(MBP) - and share the teddy bears I knit for children of the MBP at my blog, Yarn Jones.

I am a nature and animal lover, an avid reader and I am fascinated with learning and exploring what interests me! ~

Although words simply describe and are not "the thing itself", may the descriptions above and below offer a deeper glimpse of me at heart. ~ So, on that note, here goes! I am also a SoulCollage® Facilitator, taught personally by Seena Frost and the SoulCollage® mentors; certified in Soul Coaching®, taught and personally mentored by its creator: the luminous, immensely generous and beautiful spirit... Denise Linn.

My own inner-explorations have revealed that I love creating free-form mandalas! Over a period of 3+ years I created over 200. I was inspired to share them on my Mandala Oasis blog...as well as to create the Yahoo Community... which has brought together mandala enthusiasts from all over the world, each of us creating mandalas in our own unique way.

In 2008, I had the honor and pleasure of moderating an 8-week series of Mandala Webinars with the mandala process pioneer and luminary, the late Dr. Judith Cornell. I loved every bit of getting to know Judith as we worked together on that project... and was deeply saddened to learn of her passing. May her eternal soul rest... yet soar in love and peace.

Also, I am a Certified Empowerment Coach (via IPEC). I also trained in-person with Jill Badonsky to lead a variety of powerful creativity and expressive-art workshops known as "Muse Groups", and completed Jill's Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching training. I continue to reap the benefits of Jill's comprehensive, insightful and playful-yet-powerful work...to this day (even though I did opt-out of pursuing certification) I practice the principles, personally and in my work with others.

I've had the honor and delight of studying, working with and getting to know artist, teacher, art therapist and author Pat B. Allen. Her Studio (Pardes) Process of conscious intention-and image-making and witness writing have not only deepened my my creative process, but enhanced my life overall as well.

Most recently, (October 2012) I was introduced to Process Painting (aka Intuitive Painting). This painting process is opening my heart and soul like an ever-blooming flower. It's akin to my spontaneous, free-flow mandala process, which I call "Mandala Medicine"... but seemingly-deeper and different. Each modality of intuitive & spontaneous creativity is one is a unique gem of an experience for which I am immensely thankful.

It might be summed up by saying I'm passionate about and devoted to living Creativity as Spiritual Practice...& play...but that's just the tip of the iceberg!
